TEACHER TRAINING

“Yoga is not about touching your toes, it’s all in what you learn on the way down”.

Yoga with Wendy B - A registered Yoga Alliance school

Whether you are looking to teach yoga, deepen your practice, or make a shift in your life, let your journey begin with this 200 Hour teacher training program - Yoga with Wendy B, a Yoga Alliance approved 200 hour TT program. This foundational training will advance your practice, provide the fundamental tools for teaching yoga, and awaken a deeper relationship with yourself and the world around you. The training is a Vinyasa Yoga-based program, with emphasis on breath connection, alignment, anatomy, and the subtle energy of the body. There will be a strong focus on the philosophy of Yoga and bridging the work on the mat with how you live off the mat.

Self-Study/ Mentorship Training Format - Ongoing.

This format works best for the self-motivated and self-disciplined. While specific topics and study, and a daily practice are required, this program is designed to be as individualized as needed. You determine your pace and a schedule. The program is broken down into a 12 - Module format. The meetings will be scheduled based on your needs and can be done in the studio or via Zoom, although there will be a portion that requires in-studio study. The 200hr TT Curriculum is the same as the group training ( see below). Contact Wendy B. for more information and cost.

200hr. TT Curriculum

In the Vinyasa style of Yoga, movements are linked and guided by the breath. This continual connection and focus on the breath lead the practitioner deeper within to discover their own inner power. Our training methodology emphasizes the alignment of Eastern and Western Yoga philosophy; the alignment of asana, subtle energy, and the traditional 8-limbed path.
